We are excited to have you worship with us!
Christians have been gathering to worship Jesus together for thousands of years, and we are so glad to be able to continue that tradition as a church. It is a gift to be able to join together in person, and we want to steward that gift well. We recognize that the guidelines we’ve put in place are not what everyone would prefer, but it’s important that we lay aside our preferences for the good of the body of Christ.
What if I'm not feeling well?
We love you, but please stay home! If you or someone in your household is exhibiting symptoms, we ask that you do not come to service. In addition, if you or someone you’ve been in close contact with has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend services for 14 days following your most recent interaction with them per CDC guidelines.
Will I need to wear a mask?
Yes. We recognize that this is not everyone’s preference, but want to honor the leadership of the MLK Center who has asked that we follow these guidelines. Anyone 2 years or older, who is medically able, is required to wear a mask per ISBE guidelines.
Will we sing?
Yes! We value corporate worship, and we want to lift up our voices together to praise God. Please note that masks will be required for the duration of the service.
Will I be able to choose where I sit?
No, you and your household will be seated by an usher once you enter the banquet room at MLK Center. We will do our best to accommodate the number of guests in your party but we may be unable to meet every request.
Will there be Kingdom Kids ministry available for my kids?
Yes! We are so excited to offer kids ministry for children ages birth - 6th grade. We ask that you check in each child as you arrive. Infant through 4yrs old will be escorted to their class. K-6th grade will join you in service through the end of worship and then be dismissed to their class. You will be given a security number which will be used to pick up your child at the end of the service.
